What he stands for

5 questions

What does technology-agnostic mean for OG?

He does not care which model or vendor you use, and he does not push one. Models no longer decide who wins. The system around them does: when to use a model, which one, when to switch, and how to keep humans in charge. Read the essay.

Why outcomes and not output?

Output is activity: tickets summarised, documents generated, agents deployed. Outcome is a business number, measured against a baseline taken before you started. Impact is what survives the next budget cycle. OG judges AI on outcome and impact only. How he works.

Why does he insist on ownership?

Anything that is business-critical and external is a liability. Before any vendor builds your AI, he asks one question: who changes it after they leave? Read the essay.

Will AI replace people?

OG’s view: AI is about people as much as technology, and workforces should be empowered, not replaced. He also warns that the AI era will not be inclusive by default, with 2.2 billion people still offline. Read the essay.

What does “Motivation sucks. Trust discipline.” mean?

It is the core rule of The OG Operating System. Motivation comes and goes. A system you run every day does not. When something breaks, fix the lowest failing layer first. All eight ideas OG stands for.

The AI market

4 questions

Why do so many AI projects fail to create value?

In OG’s experience the technology is rarely the problem. Ownership is outsourced, execution is fragmented and nobody captured a baseline. The result is more tools, more pilots and limited impact. In a July 2026 study, BCG found that only 6% of large US public companies are real AI adoption leaders. Read the essay.

Does choosing the best AI model still matter?

Less and less. Model choice mattered a lot in 2022 and 2023. Now the companies pulling ahead are the ones that built orchestration: systems that choose, switch and control models. Read the essay.

Who is accountable when AI makes decisions?

That is the gap OG warns about. AI now approves, rejects and triggers actions inside workflows. Many companies scaled decisions before they scaled accountability, and that gap is where the risk lives. Read the essay.

Is spending more on AI the answer?

Not on its own. Most AI budgets do not fail at the model. They fail at the part nobody wants to fund: ownership, integration and change. More money makes that failure bigger. Read the essay.

Working with OG

Three things. Advisory for founders, boards, executives and investors taking AI and automation to scale. Speaking and events: keynotes, panels, workshops and event coverage. Brand partnerships for technology brands that sell to enterprise decision makers.

Does he only work with large enterprises?

No. He works with startups, boards and executive teams, investors, and enterprises from mid-size companies to the Fortune 1000.

How are paid brand partnerships handled?

Openly. When a brand pays for his work, the work says so. Brands get his independent view, not a script. See the case studies.
