What personal data olivier-gomez.com receives, why, for how long, and your rights.
Who is responsible
INTELLIGENT AUTOMATION COMPANY (SAS), 47 boulevard de Courcelles, 75008 Paris, France, RCS Paris 910 477 512, is the data controller. Contact: contact@iac.ai.
What we receive
This website has no user accounts and no advertising trackers.
We count visits with Metricool. For each visit it records the page, the site you came from, your screen size and your country, found from your IP address. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, gives you no identifier and does not keep your IP address.
The contact form does not send anything by itself. It opens your own email app with a message to olivier@iac.ai, and you decide whether to send it. So we only receive what you choose to email: usually your name, email address, organisation, role and message.
If you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email address and answers to the booking questions, under its own privacy policy. If you subscribe to the newsletter, Substack handles your subscription under its own policy.
Like any website, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and prepare a possible engagement (steps taken at your request before a contract, GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To follow up on our business relationship and keep the website secure (our legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- To count visits and see which pages are useful (our legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decisions.
How long we keep it
We keep contact data for up to 3 years after our last contact with you, unless a contract or a legal obligation requires longer.
Who sees it
Olivier Gomez and the IAC.AI team, and the providers that run our tools: Microsoft (email), Calendly (call booking), Substack (newsletter), Metricool (visit statistics) and Cloudflare (hosting and security).
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. In that case the transfer relies on the safeguards set by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@iac.ai. We answer within one month.
You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL: www.cnil.fr.
